Yes，In the first semester and the next semester of the fourth year, there will be a total of 6 credits of internship courses, which will be conducted in hospitals and industry, and hope to be able to use what you have learned in the workplace after graduation.
Goals:
I. Understand the current development of Taiwan's medical engineering related industries.
II. Learn pratical methods now work in Taiwan medical engineering, and to help students increase the skills of today Taiwan medical engineering technology- related work practices of.
III. Cultivate the desire to engage in pratical work related to medical engineering technology in Taiwan, and inspire students to learn about pratical work related to medical engineering technology in Taiwan today and enhance their motivation to develop their skills.
IV. Strengthen the mutual vertification of the theory and practice of medical engineering technology in Taiwan today. Help students understand how to apply engineering techniques and methods to the medical field.
Prospect:
I. Cultivate students to be familiar with the daily operations of medical engineering and technology related institutions, and improve student's professional skills.
II. Improve students' communication skills, adapt to the social environment, and establish good interpersonal relationships.
III. Enhance students' professional ability in medical engineering technology- related industries. It is expected that students can combine engineering technology with medicine in the professional field of medical engineering in the future, and improve the medical level, thereby helping clinical patients get better care and improving the quality of life of healthy individuals.
Regulations:
The compulsory practicum in clinical engineering(I)(II) for the first and second semesters of the fourth year of the School of Biomedical Engineering, total of 6 credits. 480 hours of practicum must be completed from the summer vacation after the second smester of the third year to graduation.
The practicum is divided into two parts. The first is 160 hours of practicum in clinical in medical centers above the regional level, and the second is 320 hours of practicum in clinical in the industry.
