To help students plan their coursework smoothly, please review the following regulations and application procedures for course credit transfer and credit recognition in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

1. Course Credit Transfer (For Transfer Students with Different Student ID Numbers)

Students who wish to transfer credits earned at their previous institution to the Department of Biomedical Engineering must have received a grade of 80 or above in the original course to be eligible to apply for credit transfer.

2. Course Credit Recognition (For Students Transferring Between Departments with the Same Student ID Number)

Students transferring to the Department of Biomedical Engineering from another department who wish to have previously completed courses recognized as credits in this department may apply for credit recognition. Eligible courses include winter and summer courses, as well as electives taken outside the department. A grade of 60 or above is required for each course to be eligible for credit recognition.

3. Application Procedure for Credit Transfer of Required Courses with Identical Names

Students who wish to apply for credit transfer for a required course with the same course title, whether the course has already been completed or is planned to be taken, must follow the procedures below to have the course recognized as a required course in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

1. Prepare the Course Syllabus: Print the syllabus for the academic year in which the course was or will be taken. The syllabus must be provided regardless of whether the course has already been completed or is planned for future enrollment.

2. Consult the Course Instructor: Submit the syllabus to the instructor responsible for the corresponding course in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and ask the instructor to confirm whether the course content meets the credit transfer requirements.

3. Obtain Proof of Instructor Approval: After receiving the instructor's approval, retain the relevant documentation as proof, such as conversation records or email correspondence.

4. Submit the Application Through the System: When submitting the course credit transfer application, attach the instructor's approval documentation along with all other required documents.

4. Important Notes

Before applying for course credit transfer or credit recognition, students must ensure that their course grades meet the requirements specified above and prepare all required documents in accordance with the regulations. Failure to do so may affect credit calculations and progress toward graduation.
