In response to the rapid development of my country's biomedicine and medical care industry, the government has vigorously promoted industrial innovation and upgrading in recent years. This department is the first biomedical engineering department established under the medical university system in Taiwan. With the help of abundant medical resources from the five affiliated hospitals of Taipei Medical University, it focuses on clinical-oriented medical engineering education and research.
